Apologies in advance if this has been discussed......

but it is going to get worse for PSU's image....if that is even possible.

When Franklin fails in this recruiting cycle.....and when he goes 7-5 next year, including a loss to Pitt......the nasty and significantly racial insults will come raining down from the holier than though win with honor cultists........

The clock is ticking........

More flattering comments directed towards the Carnival Barker

From Walterfootball.com, some QB rumors for the draft:

Christian Hackenberg:

  • Sources with multiple teams have been extremely critical of Penn State head coach James Franklin and his handling of quarterback Christian Hackenberg. Just to be clear, none of these sources are with the Houston Texans. They say that Franklin was a terrible coach for Hackenberg. These sources have known Franklin for years and feel he is responsible for a lot of the problems with Hackenberg. Franklin tore down Hackenberg and hurt his confidence. They say that Franklin is a rah-rah type of coach who showed a lot of favoritism toward the players he brought to Penn State over the players he inherited from Bill O'Brien and Joe Paterno. On top of Franklin's poor handling, Hackenberg was sacked 103 times in his 38 collegiate games with the vast majority of those sacks coming in the two seasons with Franklin. The offensive line was pathetic, but teams feel that Franklin set up Hackenberg for some failure because he tried to fit a square peg into a round hole from a scheme perspective. They feel a good coach would have adapted their scheme to Hackenberg and the other pro-style players O'Brien cultivated. They say that Franklin never embraced Hackenbarg as his guy to lead the program.
  • The sources from these teams already have franchise quarterbacks and were just calling it like they see it. They believe that Hackenberg could get selected on Day 2. Some around the believe still think that Hackenberg could go late in the first round because there are so many teams that are utterly desperate to land a franchise quarterback.

Seriously, this humanoid was literally ground zero of the PSU digital media front. He was the lead propagandist. I mean, look at him. He literally looks like what you'd see in a cartoon depiction of a freaking psycho, hoarding, weirdo that lives in a house with his dead mother (who's still sitting in a house dress in her favorite easy chair), stuffs small animals that he traps in the yard and tortures. And again, he's a PSU propagandist. No man with that haircut and those glasses can possibly be taken seriously, only immediately put under surveillance.

The first picture above with Hack and Franklin should have this caption: "Hey Coach, remind me to thank you when I leave next month...Bwahahaha...just kidding."

Coach Franklin, beware the Peter Principle -- there are signs that you have risen to the level of your incompetence.

(Come to think of it - the "Peter Principle" may have a whole different meaning at PSU...)

Go Pitt.
I still think he is a good Coach, but no where near Harbaugh, Meyer, Rhule, Ferentz, Fitzgerald, Dantonio and Narduzzi and Penn State expects him to be much more than he thought he could be once he got to Penn State?

Now both Penn State and Franklin are finding out even with all the Great Resources of Penn State's $100 million Program, and Salaries, and Recruiting Invitees and Coaching Clinics, Penn State expects far more, and Franklin now sees he is up against far more than even he ever expected, and both have been humbling on and off the GridIron! Winning 10 Games in 2016-17-18 won't be easy!

You guys are something kicking a man when he's down that's not nice!James has had a rough month but haven't we all had them(except the Captain)?James got knocked off the throne somewhat by Hardball but I think he's going to right the ship in a couple of years. He had to take two steps back to go forward which will hurt next year.He bit the bullet with a few assistants and it hurt him with a couple of recruits this year. Also he blew it with a couple of wpial kids by giving them the cold shoulder early and then tried to get them back but couldn't, his fault! But look at the kids he got hes got some really good kids coming in up there, just not enough DL and lb recruits.Go get him guys nows the time, stomp, punch, hit, spit and abuse him now because you never know about the future!

"Bobtown Bart, post: 825193, member: 9081"]You guys are something kicking a man when he's down that's not nice!James has had a rough month but haven't we all had them(except the Captain)?
Sorry, but PSU Posters have been kicking many Programs and Universities not just Pitt down quite a while. They now understand it is not easy keeping up with College president changes, A.D changes, Coaching changes and Recruits that come and go due to those changes! What happen to Penn State is what they brought on themselves, no one else!

James got knocked off the throne somewhat by Hardball but I think he's going to right the ship in a couple of years.
Many keep saying it, and we shall see? He is up against some of the Best Coaches & Programs in CFB, not easy to compete against and now admits even he underestimated that tall task? i still think he is a good coach but a good coach does not cut it in the Big Ten, a Program needs a Very Good Coach or Great Coach, and Penn State demands it too?

He had to take two steps back to go forward which will hurt next year.
You mean this year! But maybe you are right? It will be his Third Year and he did Recruit Top 24, 15 Classes in 2014-15 and still has a Top 20 in 2016! But MSU, Michigan, and OSU are doing better on the GridIron and Recruiting?

He bit the bullet with a few assistants and it hurt him with a couple of recruits this year.
Got to disagree, Franklin bit nothing, he got bitten by his Assistants and he praised them before they bit him? He either made the mistake of trusting them, after 5 years with him, or they decided to abandon Franklin, or there is something they did not like at Penn State, that paid them as good as any in CFB? Even Franklin now admits he has some problems at Penn State and he did that before MSU Game, afterwards UGA Game, and just yesterday and all in Press Conferences Franklin called?

Also he blew it with a couple of wpial kids by giving them the cold shoulder early and then tried to get them back but couldn't, his fault!
Although you make a good point, and Penn State Posters have mocked some Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Illinois Recruits, Franklin admits he has a problem? Well, Franklin addressed it, he has hired 3 Coaches with Western Pennsylvania Backgrounds and we shall see if that helps soon with Hudson and Hamlin as well as taking a Minnesota 4 Star Commit with New OL Coach Limegrover? Franklin has also sought going after High Schools Paterno regularly avoided like Clariton, Aliquippa, and Central Catholic. Yet, I still think Franklin biggest problem is his coaching and recruiting against Harbaugh, Dantonio and Meyer?

But look at the kids he got hes got some really good kids coming in up there, just not enough DL and lb recruits.
Well, that may be Franklin's Fault is it not? He bragged he would Dominate but his teams have been Dominated by better Coaches on the GridIron, Recruiting and even losing to Coaches with less Talent at NW, Temple, Illinois, and UMD in 2014-15?

Go get him guys nows the time, stomp, punch, hit, spit and abuse him now because you never know about the future?
You mean, because Franklin's Coaching is being stomp, punch, hit, spit, and abused by Harbaugh, Meyer, and Dantonio, you are blaming Pitt Posters?

You just posted, that Franklin brought some of this on himself?

"TD_6082, post: 825413, member: 510"]Franklin and his staff are being exposed as poor recruiters. Harbaugh is getting it done while Franklin looks like an amateur.
Clearly, that is happening but his coaching has been questioned more than his recruiting?

I understand you and other feel he needs more time, so be it. He has it for 2016 and 2017 is his year to prove it!
Coach Pat has to prove it too in 2016 even against better Coaches & Talent with New OC too!

At least we will measure what happens against Coach Pat and Coach Franklin, one on one!

Coach Franklin's challenge is Ferentz, Ruhle, Narduzzi, Meyer, Harbaugh, and Dantonio!

Coach Pat's challenge is Swinney, Franklin, Gundy, Fedora, Richt, Mendenhall, Fuente, Babers, Cutciffe, and Johnson!

We shall see?

-This is Narduzzi's first full recruiting class. Only this year's numbers matter, and we won't know them for sure until next Wednesday

And this year it will be 4 at least... Wheeler, Watts, Ffrench, and.......... Hamlin.

- in November, Rivals had Pitt's class at #55 and PSU's at #9. It's now #29 and #26. Pitt is surging, PSU is imploding. By Wednesday, Pitt's class will be higher ranked. Jimmy is in trouble.

You'll be drenched to the bone
If your time to you

Then you better start swimmin'
Or you'll sink like a stone
For the times they are a-changin’.

PorterHall Lion,

Take a step back for a moment...please. Your post is so obviously skewed it screams you are concerned, misled and reaching.

Is it possible...read this again, is it possible your data isn't 100% accurate? Allow for the possibility that you have combined multiple years to add prospects to your list and confined the Pitt list to just a couple. So for instance, kid by the name of J.P. Hotlz had given a verbal commitment to Goatherder U. When he found out the most horrific scandal in college athletic history was perpetrated on the Community College Repository in the Center of the State he rightfully bailed. Another current Panther, Dorian Johnson isn't in on your biased list of rubbish.
So to be clear we know you posted this to make yourself feel better and get through your day...but just remember, the biggest obstacle you will have to overcome...is that degree.
