Made three pointer and then the subsequent shot from 3/4 quart. Amazing!!!

The kid looked like he knows how to party! Really hoping he has wild parties, hookers, and breaks the place in!!!I was at the concession stand and heard the loud roar. The contest is 2 shots from the same spot so I was wondering the past couple of games if odds would have been better to make like an NBA 3 and then the 3/4 court. Not sure would I would have chosen. I think making 2 half courters in a row off the street is impossible so this was probably the better strategy.

So it turns out that the million to one contest really ended up being about one in 15.
I shot that half court shot as a kid at the FieldHouse , I missed.
You must have known someone to get the program that had the ticket or whatever was in the program to get to take the shot. People said that all the programs that had the winning page were held and given to friends and family.
Shocker, SMF whiffs again. So it turns out that the million to one contest really ended up being about one in 15.
At one point the wrestling team sold the programs. I paid a guy $20 and got the stickered program. Shot an airball and got booed. From 84-88, one of the guys selling programs was a friend of mine from my floor at Tower C. He always had a program with the "shooting sticker" hidden under his "booth." Over the years, he let me have the program about a dozen times. I never shot it but I gave the program to my friends. None of them hit the shot of course.
Correct sir.You must have known someone to get the program that had the ticket or whatever was in the program to get to take the shot. People said that all the programs that had the winning page were held and given to friends and family.
Don’t go into statistics2 half court shots still a million to one. A 3 and 3/4 court shot probably 100K to 1
My friend was on the baseball team.At one point the wrestling team sold the programs. I paid a guy $20 and got the stickered program. Shot an airball and got booed.
It's going to cost the landlord another year's worth of rent to clean the place up after he's done. The kid looked like he knows how to party! Really hoping he has wild parties, hookers, and breaks the place in!!!
I deserved it. It was a weak effort.Booooooooooooo!
So I looked up this apartment he won. It’s no where near the campus, it’s downtown. And the rents there are not “luxury” level, they are typical for down town.
Sorry, Liberace, but downtown apartments are luxury compared to South Oakland. Let's no diminish the prize he won....probably 20,000 in value or moreSo I looked up this apartment he won. He's a volunteer coach at Peters according to his LinkedInI saw an interview with him on WTAE. He said he wasn't supposed to go to the game because he was supposed to be at baseball practice but it was canceled. I looked it up and he's not on the baseball roster but maybe he is a walk-on and isnt listed yet. But if he is, I would think he wouldn't have been eligible for the contest. I dont know what other baseball team he'd be on that is practicing in February. I kinda doubt those summer adult leagues practice in February.

They advertise during that contest as luxury apartments. They are not. Also checking the rents its under $15,000. So he's won a prize that he won't be able to conveniently use, that he will have to pay income taxes on, and for which he will likely need to come up with a security deposit for.Sorry, Liberace, but downtown apartments are luxury compared to South Oakland. The guy went to Peters Township. Money won't be an issue. It's a great prize. It isn't like he won a free apartment rental in Washington County. Downtown is a relatively short bus ride, and judging by his LinkedIn page, the kid juggles a lot. They advertise during that contest as luxury apartments. They are not. it was a fantastic achievement, but a crappy prize. I bet he'd have much preferred cash.
