Because: We know that regardless of recruiting ranking / Stars / Offers ---> All these young incoming recruits are going to grow and evolve Under Head Ball Coach Pat Narduzzi --- The coach who hand-picked them and got 'em to Pitt.
Before Narduzzi came to Pitt, the Football Program was just barely gaining 'Stability' with Paul Chryst after that brutal stretch of: Wannstedt --> Haywood --> Graham --> Chryst . Essentially over those tough years, there were three full recruiting classes that were complete Patch-Work. Where you look back, and you could count (literally) on one-hand the amount of contributors in each class. HECK -- in a couple of those classes it seemed like you could count the number of players who didn't transfer on one hand!
So, yes, I wish there were a couple sub-4.45 40 yard dash burners in this class. I wish there was a Big, Athletic defensive end recruit amongst them, etc....but because Pitt (and AD Heather Lyke) locked-up Pat Narduzzi, and made it clear he truly wants to coach Pitt and Nurture all his guys ---> I am excited for this class.
