Syracuse is weak inside and since rebounding in the 2-3 is problematic, second chance points will be a key to victory. Also use of the high post rather than relying upon deep threes will be a key, I see Toney and Justin being effective in drawing fouls against the Cuse 4 and 5 guys by driving from the high post.

I say that after watching the BC game this morning when not once did Pitt put a guy in the high post against the BC zone. Hopefully knowing Pitt was to play Cuse twice, Capel has had them work on feeding the high post in practice but has kept it hidden up until now. Hard to believe but I can hope the coaches have studied a library of Dixon tapes.

I hope Pitt goes man to man the whole way and as other posters have said shut down the Cuse guards and limit Hughes

We aren't a good rebounding team. Dixon's teams used to outrebounded them by 15+ and that was a big reason we always dominated them. We cant rely on our rebounding to beat them. Need to shut down their 3 point shooting and generate sufficient first shot offense.

Having watched them vs N. Dame I disagree that they are weak inside and I don't think we can or will get many 2nd chance points.
