I've got a good feeling about this team, despite all of the blah prognostications about them.

I can see pitt finishing as high as 4th in this league.

A win tonight would be a wonderful start.

A win tonight would be great, it would make the media take notice. Even a close loss wouldn't be too bad. A blowout loss would be terrible. I'm not one to complain about the OOC schedule, but it would tough to sit through the next six weeks without any good indication of how good this team may be. Impressive victories over Purdue and Davidson would help, but it would be hard to be optimistic until we see some ACC wins.

Just a shame when we were really good we never played OOC games like this, aside from the rare event such as Duke at MSG. The past few years though, we've played some really tough teams while unfortunately we haven't been as good as we once were. I still thought Maui last year was great though. 2K Sports Classic next year will also be a great event. Even this year we play some good teams and I think people will take notice if we win some of these OOC games against the better teams we play.

I want to see enough to make me think my positive expectations for this team this year are justified. We need to see Pitt rebound reasonably well tonight. It will be a tough task, given the Zags front line, but they need to hold their own. Need to see Artis play D, and see the grad transfers look like they belong.
