I’m no expert on Millennial social media lingo...

He should put his name in the draft. Get NBA evaluation. See what he needs to improve his draft stock if he's outside the 1st round or not given a promise of a contract if he stays in. Worst thing for him is they tell him to go back to college.

Where is his upside? He isnt going to grow. His strength in college is in the paint. He doesn’t have the size to do that in the nba. He doesn’t have the skills from the outside as a shooter or a slasher to the rim. Nice college player but it doesn’t translate to the nba. Add it free throw shooting and defense and he doesn’t have the right skill set

His chance to improve will be greater with pro coaching and full time practices
Most of us dealing with reality understand that

Nah. We have a way better grasp of generations. Especially since some of us are pushing 40 ourselves.
or anyone who might be older than you and opposes your views....thsts the modt common boomer usage these days.

People keep saying that and while it may be true it’s not as important as you think. It’s about what the NBA sees as potential and their ability to develop him. And they can do that for as many hours as they like once he’s a pro.
Well if they see potential and development - that means overseas or the D League. And if he's is truly a development player - they aren't usually drafted in the first round.

So you think all 30 1st rounders are deemed ready for the NBA? Please.

You happen to remember a guy named Steven Adams? He was nowhere NEAR ready. Lottery pick.

And I know a yea but is coming because he’s a 7 footer. But the point remains 30 1st rounders are in no way shape or form are seen as NBA ready.

Correct - it’s all about upside - not being a finished product
If teams feel they can improve his handle and get him stronger on the perimeter as a guard -wing
They are going to take him because his instincts and athleticism is nba ready- and those are the things they can’t teach

Upside is usually taking someone with physical attributes and developing their skills. You cannot teach someone who is 6'6 to be 6'10".

It’s all about potential unless your incredibly skilled or a physical freak ( in a good way ) .

How many 6’5” guys are there that shoot 33% from the college 3 pt line ? Can a 6’5” guy who struggles guarding college guys defend in the NBA ? Can a 6’5” guy dominate the boards in the NBA ? Is there a place in the NBA for a 6’5” guy who isn’t special from 3 who also has problems creating his own offense ? If only he was a legitimate 6’8” !

He needs more tools in his toolbox for the NBA ....overseas or stay another yr at Pitt .

But if someone wants to guarantee him a pile of cash take it .

Yes they can improve his perimeter skills

Steven Adams is seven feet tall. And no...every first rounder isn’t ready for the NBA - that’s why they get sent overseas or to the G or D League...whatever it is now days.

I am not an expert either. I actually don't understand the reason of creating this social media ads. Furthermore, I can tell you that the first thing that I did after creating a Facebook account, I installed the tool from https://www.lupagedigital.com/blog/facebook-ads-to-google-sheets/, which helps me to deal with this commercial ad. So as you can imagine I don't like, commercials, especially in social media, and I am sure that there are more people that think like me. I hope you guys are having a good day.
