Vaguely reminiscent of the infamous Pickett defeat of Miami when they were also undefeated. Both Miami and Louisville kept ignoring the stuff that was working, and kept flinging bombs that didn’t connect, especially in the second half

This kid Veilleux has the best ball I've seen in a Pitt QB since Marino. Quick release, tight, and with ease. Kenny was great for Pitt but Veilleux has more natural talent. I'm looking forward to next year and his development. If only he were given more of a chance from the beginning. Not knowing his potential and ability is on the Pitt coaches. They blew it by giving away wins to wvu, Cincy, UNC, VT while using Jerkovec. Now give Christian an OL and we may have something.
