I have been quick to criticize and berate over the last two or so seasons. It’s because I hate when my team loses and cannot compete at the level I grew up watching from our Big East Championship era. This team has grit, athleticism, the ability to drive the lane, rebound, play defense, be unselfish, SHOOT THE THREE CONSISTENTLY, and win the tough games. My eyes peeled up when we beat NC State and Syr. I’m thoroughly impressed and excited for next year with this team plus Dior and Hughley and the freshmen. I owe an apology and I am very happy to be able to say that the negative comments and the doubt I had about him being able to coach, recruit, get through to the kids and have them buy in was misplaced. I was wrong.
