I really don't understand Seth Davis's argument..

No panic. Just a lack of critical thinking by the committee which is normal for them.

Let me also say I think it's Bull crap that automatic qualifiers have to play in the Play In Game. It should all be AT LARGE teams.

Because honestly, the "first round" everyone knows is the JV game before the REAL Big Dance. Making Bobby Mo and North Florida compete for the privilege to play the #1 seed sucks.

If you guys want a REAL argument, what does the NCAA do if the BYU women's team makes the Final Four? The women's Final Four is played on a Sunday

This actually came up in a men's bracket some years back ...

... I'm pretty sure the committee placed them at a Friday - Sunday site.

I remember it being discussed during one of the bracket shows. I can't say for positive if I'm remembering it correctly, or what ended up happening regardless.

yes the committee screwed up. but they found BYU a bracket to play in that wasn't a Sunday. BYU didn't make the Sweet 16 so it was a moot point. This scenario is the Final Four... there is no other bracket at that point in the tournament. What would the NCAA do?
