Thanks to Nancy Pelosi and the others who refused to provide the requested security Trump asked for , Babbitt is dead and her family gets some taxpayer money.

That didn't happen.

So much for the "AP’S ASSESSMENT" 🙄

Oh, if Joeypanic and the AP say it, it must be true. 🤡

You know better than to mis-characterize these comments posted via Fox.

Nancy Pelosi, as Speaker of the House, did not have the authority to directly order the National Guard to the Capitol on January 6th

Capitol Police Board's Authority: The decision to request National Guard assistance at the Capitol rests with the Capitol Police Board, not the Speaker of the House.

Composition of the Capitol Police Board: This board consists of the House Sergeant at Arms, the Senate Sergeant at Arms, and the Architect of the Capitol.

Pelosi's Role: While Pelosi, as Speaker, appointed one member to the Capitol Police Board, she did not have direct control over the Board's decisions regarding the National Guard.

In summary, the Speaker of the House does not have the power to independently order the National Guard to the Capitol.

Nevertheless, she admitted that they should have been prepared and that they dropped the ball. And she wasn't referring to the GOP

Don't want to get shot? Don't attack your own Capitol with a vicious, violent mob and try to crawl through a window you just smashed out.

She was saying she should have known that Trump would incite the attack on our Capitol, as he desperately tried to remain in power and steal an election he lost decisively.

No, just curious if you always take the side against law enforcement of cases involving a death

I used to give the benefit of the doubt to police but not so much anymore. Too many bad apples to believe they are above any average non cop. Let’s face it, a large majority of cops are drunk, wife beating meat heads. (The male cops too).

Regarding chauvin, the original autopsy report was changed from cause if death being an overdose to chocking and he went down and honestly, it was necessary for him to go down to save this country from a riot that would have made la look like a community day parade.

Sucks for him no doubt but he saved many lives and tens of millions of dollars of damage and destruction that would have resulted in a correct and fair verdict.

Any real American patriot is disgusted and ashamed at what the MAGA cult did to our nation on January 6th. The fact that Trump decided to pardon literally 100's of cult f*cks who viciously beat cops senseless makes it even worse....although it does shine a light on how Trump really feels about cops.

"Nevertheless" means you are incorrect. And no, that's not what she said.

Like any normal person in a situation where morons cultists injured hundreds of people- they wish they would have and could have done more.

Take off your Fox glasses for moment and listen to what she is saying, instead of what you want to hear.

I wouldn't even waste cycles responding to some of their nonsense. She knew that chit didn't happen.

I'm not sure why you're being so obtuse here.

Nevertheless means that even though you may be factually correct (she isn't directly responsible for calling out the guard) but that doesn't make the AP's straw man (she didn't block) get the Capitol Keystone Cops or the Dems in control off the hook.

One would think that her rhetorically asking, "Why weren't the national guard there to begin with?" followed by her statement "I take responsibility for not having them prepare for more" would drop you a clue that they sh*t the bed.

Just go find another article link where the caption spins it your way. I promise I won't read it nor reply, and you can continue in TDS bliss. 🙄

Kinda funny, you recognize that I'm factually correct (which I am) but you're incapable of simply admitting that you were spreading a nonsensical conspiracy theory that you fell for, but I have TDS. Lol. Ok 🤡.

Babbit didn't deserve to die, obviously. But she was a piece of shit human and died committing a crime. That doesn't mean the cop should have shot her. He shouldn't have but this is the MAGA equivalent of the sympathy towards the El Salvador dude. Another piece of shit. I just want due process followed. Bring him back and deport him to a country other than El Salvador.

Why wouldn’t we deport him to his home country who is willing to take him?

Conspiracy theory with Pelosi admitting to on video.

You're a pip, Edith. A real pip.

Because there was a court order that expressly prohibited that. Why is that hard to understand?
Yeah I am fine with following the court order. But the result would be the same as be eventually would have been sent to El Salvador after the due process.

Pretty simple bro. He is a criminal from El Salvador and should end up there.

Negotiating with terrorists? The Dems negotiated with BLM, and they are domestic terrorists. They literally got away with murder and no repercussions.
Negotiated.? They got down on their hands and knees and essential said whatever you want massa

If the court order banned him from returning to ES then how could that have been reversed? It didn't say he couldn't be deported, just not to ES. Honestly, I don't know this answer. If that could have been reversed and deported to ES, then that's what needed done. And if not, he should have been sent back and deported somewhere else, to a country that would have promised due process.

I just don't like this slide toward authoritarianism. We have to respect the courts and judges. It's the system we have no matter how messy. I'm no fan of this guy but we have to respect our legal system.
