why a corner ever allows the quick slant over the middle on third or 4th and short. The Cuse TD was obvious and way too easy. Why not cheat over to the middle by one step, taking away that slant, and force the play to the outside? The QB has to make a tougher throw to the outside, with a chance of a pick if its under thrown, or if the corner jump the route on a short sideline cut.
