OMG, this line of thinking - that a kid will make his college choice based on whether a school wins x, or x +1 games this year -- is really laughable. This is where a kid is actually going to live, and study, and play ball for the next 3-5 years. This factor is irrelevant to kids. To the extent that they care about wins, they will naturally be more concerned about how many wins they think a team will have over the next several years when THEY might be there.
Regarding Ford, if you think Pitt needs offensive playmakers, you won't find a better option than Ford. I'd love for him to play on offense instead of D, and if he does play on offense, it won't be because he has to play there because of a desperate situation, it will be because the coaches will want to maximize his abilities and his contribution to the team. BTW, in case you hadn't noticed, Pitt's offense is tearing it up, week after week, so the idea that we are desperate for playmakers on offense is silly.
