WVU - First
ND - Second
PSU - Never

I gotta laugh at you people that don't want to play Penn State! It was the most fun game to watch in years! Especially beating them, in front of a packed Heinz Field! WTF? Would you rather play Rice in front of 38,000 fans, with nobody giving a crap?

They aren't going to play us. So why pine?

who in this thread said anything about Rice? The options are ND, WVU and PSU. Not one person on this planet would rather play rice than psu..

with psu proving time and again they want no parts of this series, it's time to give WVU another crack. maybe our new AD will open up talks again

I can't wait until penn state isn't infesting Heinz field every other season anymore. The game last year was awesome, but I have no interest in anything that gives penn state more media coverage and things like that around here.

Doesn't matter to me who pitt plays, I just wanna see winning seasons. There's only one team I would really like to see visit Heinz at some point. I would love to see fraud graham bring his sun devils into town at least once and get torn apart by Pitt (and hopefully the Pitt fans too.)

WVU is a close #2. only reason I like ND over the eers is it's a better road trip. South bend as a town is painfully boring but walking into ND stadium is pretty cool.. Plus, right or wrong, factual or perception wise, beating ND holds more acclaim.

Yes, true. And you run into a lot of ND fans no matter where you go. I just like the close proximity and chances for interactions with other fans that you get w/ WVU and PSU.

I actually think WVU and PSU are pretty close. I think back to 13-9 and I don't think that would have felt any better had it been against PSU. OK, maybe a little w/ JoePa there at the time.

im with you, I respect the backyard brawl more than most folks. im in that generation where pitt/wvu meant more than pitt / psu. im 41 and I've witnessed a hell of a lot more meaningful and memorable wvu / pitt games than pitt vs psu.

I could see why the generation before me holds the pitt - psu rivalry higher though, it meant more in the 70's and early 80s.

Then hypothetically I hope PSU's team plane crashes next fall. Since they aren't on Death Penalty like they should be.
that was not one of the three choices...maybe next poll and maybe Mathew McConaughey can play the lead in the movie inspired by it...
