If you want to watch Pitt/WMU, this is how you do it

I'm assuming you can't make the game since most of you dont go to games like me.

I am beyond amazed at how after all these years, most of you have absolutely 0 clue about how the ACC Package works.

So listen to this:

If you live in the United States and you want to watch the game, you can....for free. For free.

For free.

For free.

Again, ITS FREE

How you ask? If your local RSN bought the ACC/Raycom package, watch it on that. If your local RSN did not buy the ACC/Raycom package, watch it FOR EFFING FREE on the ESPN app.

Note: when I say free, I am assuming you all of you subscribe to either a cable service, satellite service, or streaming live TV provider.

First question: Can I watch it if I have Comcast in Pittsburgh?

Yes!!!!!! I said anyone can watch it for free, didn't I? Comcast subscribers have access to the ESPN app and guess what, its NOT an ACCN game. Its a Raycom/RSN game and since ATTSN didn't buy it, you can watch for free on the ESPN app

This is about the 345.000 time I saw a post like this, and I still dont understand how people dont get it.

Same thing with the big 10 network, SEC network, whichever. All have to be viewed this way.

Anyways, good post

I thought you would be in Happy Valley next week handing out canned food items to the poverty stricken folks from Central PA & rural Alabama.

Only if they are from one party, he would let the other party starve, he is open minded like that

I'll try that. Pretty sure that signal is going to be identified as overseas and get bounced too. Maybe I need to get a tracphone. 😂
He must be using a tracphone because he is the ONLY person that says that works for them. I've tried it before and still got blacked out on my phone signal.

They can still read a phone's IP address for the location whether the wifi is on or not.

You don’t have to watch big 10 or sec network thru an app.

We have at least 5 different threads going, all on page 3 or 4 with everyone disagreeing on how you can watch this and if they get it. That’s the point. In this day and age, we shouldn’t have to be arguing about what app or subscription with a specific provider is needed to access the game.

Everyone says no big deal then there are 150 posts with 150 different opinions on who can watch this game and how we can get it. You know what’s not a big deal? Picking up a remote and pushing “power” button.

Exactly! It isn't as simple or straightforward as some make it out to be. But last week, the game was on the Aussie version of ESPN. I turned on the tv, then turned on the SkyTv box. Game on. It was freaking glorious.
What these tv deals are about isn't getting people to watch the game. It's actually about getting people who don't watch the game to pay for it.

I waa was a in Tijuana looking for a pens vs devils playoff game in 2000. You think finding a pitt game thru an app with a specific provider is tough, try that. Brutal.

I gave up after awhile and just drank garbage cheap tequila and woke up naked with a donkey. We still keep in touch.

Actually that's what the old television deals were for. Into the future it's going to be about getting the people who really want to watch them pay a lot of money to do so.

We've had the discussion here before about how much this is all going to cost fans when we get to the full a la carte "nirvana". Well last weekend Oklahoma put their one "tier 3" game on pay per view. $30. One game. Against Western Carolina.

I did that for a pitt vs. Georgia hoops game about 15 years ago. We lost. Forget how much I paid but it was a decent chunk of chsnge.

Haha. When I read the first line of your post, I immediately thought "donkey show". So did you. Too funny. Or sad. One of those!

Who is your TV service provider? This will explain it

Not everyone is as smart as me. It couldn't be more simple.

Its either on "TV" in your region or the ESPN app (for free) if not.

What the heck are Pens fans going to do when their games start popping up on Hulu, ESPN+, and HBO Max? That starts next year. Somehow I don't think they will be anywhere as clueless as Pitt fans.

Will we see a Pens fan message board asking why ATTSN didnt pick up a Pens game on HBO Max? And can they watch this HBOM on the ESPN app or KBL?

If you have Direct Tv and the sports pack there will be no problem. Many of the regional Bally networks will have it.
