I know his whole family is saying otherwise, I just think the temptation to get playing up a year is too great.

That was my original comment until I noted that Jalen doesn't commit until 2 years from now. I still think X will need to show a lot more if he is going to leave early and make money professionally. We shall see.

In fairness though — if X transfers or goes pro next year then I wouldn’t be surprised if schifino reclassifies. Basically he’ll come whenever he’ll be the clear starter

Did everybody watch how X played this season ? He’s absolutely nowhere near ready to make an impact playing professionally right now . If he had any legitimate chance of leaving early he squashed those hopes with the lack of any substantial improvement from his freshman yr . If he was to transfer this was the year he’d have done it so he’s here for 4 yrs and that’s a good thing for Pitt . Better shooting surrounded by better players he could become the player that got everyone excited about last yr .
