I'm as big a supporter of Robinson as anyone, but that doesn't mean I am blind to his weaknesses. He has definite strengths, and also definite weaknesses. Being a slow, light scoring PG, those weaknesses are going to be magnified playing with a slow, light scoring SG.

Actually, Robinson is the only G on the floor most of the time. Jones and Johnson are SFs, they are not quick enough and good enough ball handlers to be SGs. Smith makes a nice percentage of the occasional 3 pt shots he feels comfortable taking, but for an SG he sure seems to have a strange of aversion to wanting to have the ball in his hands. As a good rebounder, some of his stat lines would lead you to believe he is Gary McGee disguised as an SG.

I would like to see more of Wilson at SG, but I can see why Dixon would not want to do that. There is no other player even close to resembling a PG on this team. Foul trouble would be a real problem, and a significant injury would be a disaster.

Not to put this on Robinson, but we need quicker, better shooting, better ball handling guys in the backcourt. I'm getting tired of watching Young trying to back down double and triple teams with his dribble. The guards should be breaking down the defense and Young and Artis should be getting open without the ball for easy shots and offensive rebounds.

I'm looking forward to seeing what an offense with guys like Wilson, Kithcart and Milligan together in the backcourt would look like.

Quicker. No question. Give Jamie a year or two to get us good again and see what happens. That is about all I can say haha.
