my last comment was: "Pitt still won't be Top 25 ranked on Monday", and it came true. I'm not here to rub it in. There is nothing that will convince Pitt fans (including me) that being ranked 29th is correct. Pitt should be ranked higher; certainly above Northwestern, who's win @ home vs Purdue is = to /no better than our win @ home vs UVA

Why aren't we ranked higher? This past week saw us compete vs two of the bottom feeders in the ACC. The ACC is considered a weak league according to many, if not most AP voters. Pitt was not on the AP voters radar

Going forward, a win vs BC on Tuesday and @ VT on Saturday might get us to 25, but no higher. The only game going forward that matters to the AP voters is @ Miami on March 4. And after that the ACCT begins.

Here is hoping that the NCAAT committee and their "voters" are taking notice to what Pitt's resume looks like: wins over the teams that are currently ranked higher than them (UVA, Miami, NC State, NW)
