Interesting talk following Temple game

Next year is going to be interesting in the SEC. Of the major players in the conference, I think only Alabama is happy with their coaching staff. 8-4 is going to create some job openings next year at a few major schools.

It will be interesting to see who is poachable and who isn't.

uh, yeah, for the most part it does....Now, blind team homer-ism short of reality (the kind that causes people to say they know what the hell someone they do not know is going to do or not going to do because he is our loyal wonderful coach) does influence losing rationality comes in at around 99.972%...

-Actually you would be wrong. Because I can tell how loyal a coach is based off how long he stays at a school for. Some coaches change jobs every year for pay increases. Other coaches like Paterno, you could of offered him 20 mil a year and he would have never left Penn state. Same with Bobby Bowden. Narduzzi could have left Michigan State years ago for a head coaching job. In this instance, I believe him. He isn't Fraud Graham.

The only thing anyone can say for certain is that what graham, Chryst, whoever did here has zero impact on what narduzzi will do. Radio hosts or whoever sound like morons predicting narduzzi will leave because they did. Narduzzi will do what's best for him, and if he builds a great program here there is no reason at all to leave.

If somehow Narduzzi left, I would have no problem bringing in Rhule to replace him. Texas didn't have a problem hiring Sooner Darrell Royal; nor did Michigan have a problem handing the keys to Woody Hayes protege, Bo Schembechler. Ex Brown, and Cleveland native Chuck Noll did a pretty good job with the Steelers as well. If anything, Pitt winning with Rhule at the helm would irk the Nitters to no end.

Narduzzi was one of the highest paid assistants at MSU. I think the reason he turned some other schools there is because he didn't feel he could win there.

Loyalty is a two way street. Schools don't keep coaches who lose. Coaches aren't going to stay at places where they are not appreciated if they win and have other opportunities. Unlike Graham, who was pretty much looking to leave when he got here, I think Narduzzi is enjoys being the HC at Pitt. If he keeps winning, schools with more cache are going to be kicking the tires. You don't wait until then to show the guy some love and expect him to just happily stick around.
