Better to be down 9 in the first half than to be down 9 with 4 minutes left in the game.
They have really cooled off in the second half. After shooting 73% on twos in the first half they are all the way down to 64% in the second half.
Just incredibly sloppy play. There really doesn’t feel like there’s any flow to the offense.
That’s what I was thinking after that last miss and rebound. Your season’s on the line and you’re going to the defender steal the ball off the offensive board?
We need to get really aggressive on defense to either get steals or get them to the one and one.
Our defense makes me cautious. Honestly. I am wondering if this is the worst defensive team since at least the Willard days
I haven’t watched Notre Dame all year. I have no idea who is on their team. This morning I was literally getting angry thinking “watch some white dude with bad hair pop 3s”.
Not sure why that gets me. Maybe it’s because there is a high % chance firing 3s is a part of their game and yet we do nothing about it.
Coming into today Notre Dame was shooting 36.2% on threes. Today they shot 35.3% on threes.

Right, which means either Capel doesn’t know how to manage a game or was not able to put together a tournament-worthy bench (answer: it’s both). Both are damning.
