Is the "Waiting List" dead?

How many upper deck seats do you think there are? My guess is 5000. There have been numerous games where they let uppe4 deck folks sit in the Zoo, which still didnt fill the Zoo. For those games, there were only maybe a few dozen people left in the upper deck. So, right there, you have a 7500 seat arena with really nobody in the upper deck. Sorry, but aint no way 6000 of the 7500 lower bowl tickets are filled for games like this. You're still looking at maybe half if we're lucky.

Let me ask you this, if actual attendance was honestly 3,128 for a game, do you think Pitt would announce that actual number?
I have been told by someone in the Athletic department that the number is made up.

There were more people at that blizzard game than at the first two CBI games. I can't speak to the later CBI games because I was out of town. 6800 is too high but probably more than 5000.

Perhaps I was unclear --

There was definitely about 4,000+ for the Blizzard game (but not the 6,600+ announced).

The first and second CBI games were about 1,000. The last two CBI games were probably 1,500 or maybe a little more.

I thought there were 3,500 storming the court with us at the CBI final??!!??

I seem to recall that instead of storming the court, we threatened to "lightly drizzle" the court.

During the CBI championship game, my wife, daughter and I were sitting in a sports bar on the Florida Gulf Coast. We convinced the manager to switch ONE TV to the game but it was Amateur night at the bar so we got no sound.

It was pretty surreal, with 3 of us cheering for Pitt hoops and everybody else listening to bluegrass and poor Jimmy Buffet imitators.

well. 18 montha ago, the Mrs. & I were in the Siesta Key Oyster Bar, watching Pitt dismantle Wake Forest. Fun, we actually had people watching it. Right after the game, oysters went half-price, so we stayed a while. We need to get to Mayberry RFD for the ACC party some year. Ain't MSG, but allows a Northerner to feel superior. ;)

Shame on you!

Cheering for the Panthers to win the CBI was off-limits according to some.

;)

He's fine. Was fortunate to spend some time with him a few weeks ago. He's taking a needed break from Pitt sports to focus on other things.
