Not the one we wanted (Russell Athletic) but I like it. It's a pretty cool bowl since it's at Yankee Stadium in all, and should get another 10-15K showing. Most of all, I like our chances against any of the B1G teams we get matched up against. We're built to stop the run and we can put a lot of points up.
SMF is super pumped. Havent been to NYC since 2012 and this is a perfect reason to go. Nothing like NYC around the holidays.

Northwestern has a good passing attack too. Granted im sure it is padded against lower tier teams but they do have a decent offense.
i like the Pinstripe Bowl as a destination, just wish we had a better opponent.

Not sure where you are coming from, but if you are in Eastern PA, grabbing the NJ Transit train to NYC in Hamilton, NJ is a great way to get in and out.

Eastern PA has good bus transportation via Trans Bridge or Bieber bus lines which drops off the suckers I mean passengers at Pt Authority and then you can take the "mugger mover" subway to Yankee stadium.
Wife and I will spend the money for a cab.

On a positive note the Pinstripe bowl pays $ 2 mill. It looks like around the 12 best paying bowl.
Last years Military bowl paid out a mere $ 1 mill.

Doesn't matter how much they pay all the bowl money is put in a pot and divided up equally.
The bad part about this game is it's Wednesday at 2PM. I'll buy a ticket to support the athletic dept but no way I can get off work for it. If it was prime time I could have pulled it. Oh well. Hope everyone who goes has fun. Should give us a good shot at a 9 win season.

Yeah not a bad bowl. But that is just laughable. A Wednesday, in the middle of the afternoon? Literally the stupidest time slot ever. Like you said though, oh well should be a fun game if you can make it.
It's the opponent for me, not the bowl game. It's pretty darn hard to get excited to play Northwestern when they are 6-6. Stanford or Utah would be much cooler.
That too. Can't have it all. Like I said, hate the time slot for the day of the week. I like the actual bowl, if I could go I definitely would. But yeah the opponent I'm not fond of. Pretty bad if we lose IMO, but we should win.
I just remember us obviously playing weekday night bowl games in the past, and when the pinstripe started it was on Saturday afternoons (which would have been great.) this weekday afternoon stuff is just dumb IMO.
Shit location, shit bowl and against a shit team. This team deserved better. Awful job by the Athletic Department.
