Without Jamel flashing to the foul line against that Cuse zone and taking jumpers or making good passes to open players we have no chance. In his current funk, I am not sure what would happen if we try to play through him. I just know that there is no one else to fill that role on our roster. If I am Jamie, I pull him aside and show him film of his past play against Syracuse both last year and earlier this year. I would also show him film of the Notre Dame game from earlier in the season. Then I would reassure him that he is the player he watched in those films and not the player he has been of late. In effect, hypnotising him with positive memories to build his confidence. As well as we have played against the Cuse in the past, we have no shot if he plays like he has in the last 5 or so!
