NJIT is the former Newark College of Engineering. I would have had to go there if Pitt hadn't offered me a scholarship back in 1971. Its in an armpit of Newark and its an engineering school. Think a poor man's Georgia Tech. I'm not sure you could recruit to that hole.

That's good to know...I gather the neignborhood is gentrifying some...I remember seeing burned out cars more than once when I took a summer class there after my freshman year at Pitt.
