Lets wait until we see what this is. I want to see a genuine effort. Something along the lines of what WVU is doing. There has been almost no attempt to engage the regular Pitt fan. Many, I'm sure, dont even understand the importance of NIL and that these players need some type of salary guarantee.

Lets say you think political topic X is really important and the person running is championing that issue but they are not making an effort to win the election (ie spending enough money). No, the difference is that you continually, loudly proclaim that this is the single most important thing to Pitt athletics, and then even though you think that you are intentionally doing nothing.
It's just like when you claim that you are a huge fan of Pitt Olympic sports while simultaneous arguing that their funding should be cut to the bare minimum. It isn't your stand that people are laughing at you about, it is your complete hypocrisy, which is obvious to everyone but which you are desperate for people to not notice.

Ok. Good luck. In my opinion, anyone who gets cancer should get free treatment and their salary paid until they are cancer free. This also goes for parents taking care of their little ones. Raise taxes to pay for it. Im good with that.
That's the worst. If your child gets cancer, you should be able to leave your job and have it protected indefinitely with pay until they are cure. No one should have to "earn a living" while dealing with their child's cancer. That is inhumane. Their child should be 100% of their focus.
