Join LaMont Wade at his commitment party

Am I the only one who went to parties in high school that had cover charges? We actually had bouncers and cover charged at house parties.

I can't be the only one not bothered by this at all can i?

we used to do this at parties all the time to cover the kegs..

No, you're not the only one. These people are too dense to realize the announcement is going to be made at a free dinner & the $3 charge is for the afterparty celebration of said dinner announcment.

Alarming how dumb some Pitt fans are.

usa today wrote the story, obviously they thought it was worth writing about. You should call them and tell em your opinion, mention how dense they are..

Keep us posted on how this goes.

I thought I read the proceeds were going to a charity? Unfortunately, I can't find that information...

You're right - - but they changed the venue, so conditions changed. And that's not even to say they still won't - but a certain segment of Pitt fans will still jump on the kid.

I realize you're a bit slow, so I'll post the relevant excerpt of that article:

"...he will hold a party shortly thereafter to celebrate his early graduation and his college choice. It starts at 10"

The party is $3, not the announcment itself.

Carry on with your indignation over exactly... nothing.

A half-baked USA Today report is more accurate then what the kid posted, in detail, in a public forum?

Keeping you posted would be besides the point. You're too slow to keep up.
once again, your anger is at usa today, not us.. call them up and let them have it..

The afterparty has a fee, not the announcment.

Is there anything else you'd like to be indignant about?

If I'm angry about anything, it's about how poor the reading comprehension is on this board.

Nah, I'll just continue to follow what's actually happening instead of getting angry about what isn't.

I know that's your thing, but it makes the board absolute trash to read.

You seem like the type of guy who gets his news from USA Today, though. So, no surprises.

So, a statement of fact is now bragging. Meanwhile, you missed the part where I was mocked as a Penn State grad. On top of that, a complete ass made light that my father had died. No biggie, he just fought the Nazi's from North Africa to Berlin. Please carry on with you asinine bullshit.
What's asinine is you think you can get people to agree with you on a free public message board...and you're a nitter fan.

Most of you wouldn't pay $3 for Pitt tickets. Nobody expects you to chip in some money for a party in Clairton for Lamont Wade.
If I'm paying 3 dollars to get into a party in clairton, something in my life has gone terribly wrong.
