Justin Champagnie is going to be an amazing player

He reminds me so much of a young Chevy Troutman, only with more upside.

Justin is going to play the three i think in the end chevy played the four. Chevy could shoot but did most of his damage down low and played great d rebounded and scored 8-14 a game. Was consistent and didn’t turn ball over. Had great hands stayed calm. Justin is no where near chevy yet but if he can improve his outside shot not turn ball over hit his free throws grab 6-8 boards a game and play d like chevy did he wold have a chance. Justin size is nice. He actually seems like a legit 6-7 and he moves well. Seems to have a good understanding of the game. Seems to realize he is not a great three point shooter after his first couple games and has stopped launching them. That is not his game now. Good thing he was not out for the year cause this team would have been in trouble. He seems to me should have been a top 100 player though and not 113 player in the country. Also like he is from New York. I would like pitt to get back getting those kids. They have a tuffness and personality it seems to me that fits well with pitt teams. Watching him from the floor during home games so far he does not take other players messing with him someone gives him a push I notice he does it right back. He simply does not let other teams upper class-man mess with him.

His brother, who was considered to be considerably worse, to the point that most schools wouldn't take him to get Justin, is averaging 12 and 7 for St. John's. This makes me think Justin is even better than he's shown.

"he be good"
"he be Real good"

I loved when the announcer said the KState guy was ready to take a charge and Champagnie ( Bubbly) took a side step, a long step and made a layup.
The KSt guy just turned around and looked at him.

Right now I just hope that his ankle is ok because he said he heard a crack but got it taped up and came back but it's always the next day when it swells up and get stiff so let's just hope he's okay

I’m just a pharmacist
But his elevation seems to think it’s not something serious

no amount of tape let’s you have bounce on a bum wheel like he had

Agree ... and like I said, our best lineup by far tonight well Justin at the three, Terrell at the four, and Eric at the five.

Anyone remember when some were predicting that our best lineup would be with 4 guards (Trey, X, Toney and Murphy) and one big?

Take the Chevy to the Levy !!

Champagnie is totally different. chevy played in beast mode, could have been a tight end in the NFL. Champ is more all round, but doubt he will dominate physically like Chevy, but can take over a game in other ways. better all around scorer, vs just inside. better shot blocker, probably not as strong a rebounder, but maybe.

I predicted it might have been X Trey Toney and Drum. It was a reasonable expectation which bears no shame.

And we saw the best lineup for one particular game.

I suspect the final verdict for Pitt’s best lineup is far from decided, and will often change.

But you stayed at a Holiday Inn Express so that qualifies you to provide a medical opinion or perform surgery.
