Worst performance of the year. These last 4 midweek games are 4 of the worst Pitt performances of lifetime. Honestly, as bad as this team is on the road and against the zone, its tough to see this team making the NIT next season.
We need to win some games. This is getting absurd. I’ve been saying for 2 months how excited I am about the future, and Capel, and the Freshman. Fans have hung in there. But at some point, this needs to stop. This team should be good enough to have been above .500 overall.... even in the hardest conference in the history of the world

even still, it's like they are playing 3 on 5 sometimes. Maybe even 2 on 5. Too many guys just aren't ACC players and it puts too much stress on the guys that are, especially since most of them are non-lottery pick (though talented) freshmen.
And who designed these uniforms? Ugly uniforms leads to ugly play.

Capel could take 10 freshmen recruits for 2019 and he would have a better roster than this one.

Stop the mental errors, this team is devoid of serious talent. Frustration causes a lot of the mental mistakes we have seen and that’s why pitt goes on scoring lapses and allows huge runs.
I compare pitt next year to the current Duquesne squad. By year two, Pitt will be much improved due to recruiting. They won’t make as huge stride as Duquesne next year because of being in the ACC, but we will see a 500 record.next year

Recruiting will determine whether or not we have a chance at the NIT next year. We need a big influx of talent.
We missed enough layups and free throws to be in the game, if not have a lead. Throw in tHe giveaways after a rebound or running away from the ball...
Have to admit for the first time in the Capel era I’m discouraged.
Maybe they’ll pull this out - but I doubt.

Time to string together a few wins. That’s all I’m saying. If we wind up losing 10 or 12 in a row, some of the good feelings are going to get eroded

Yes, I do. We all know the deficiencies, but there is enough talent to beat some of these lower end teams down the stretch
Everytime they get close, something bad happens (back to back 3's, awful foul calls, blocked shot, etc.).
