looks like he's not coming this weekend for a visit. going to OSU instead. if he gets a committable offer from urb, looks like he's going there. when Urb comes calling, its hard to compete against them.

the weaver kid decommit from michigan is going to visit us and psu over the next 4 days

If he gets an OSU offer, that's a done deal. OSU is his dream offer, he has made no bones about that. At this point I'd have to think it's all about Salomon for us, who's worth taking a chance on, just as Winfree was. We need playmakers on the outside.

tonight might be miller's in home visit with miami. wouldn't be surprising to see him flip but hope he sticks. the staff is trying to bring in hampton for a visit, that might be a backup plan for miller or if hamlin goes somewhere else.

Thebadby2, you have great judgment and football knowledge, do you see any Pitt Recruit Wideout that has the same abilities to contribute right away like Boyd did in his first games at Pitt? Is that Salamon or Flowers or Winfield?

Who knows--but Salomon already has NFL size and speed, if he came to Pitt to work hard I'm sure he'd see the field right away. Winfree will play right away but that's because we're thin at WR and he comes to us as an experienced college player. Winfree is talented but not overly so. Salomon is a different kind of athlete than we've seen around here in a while, and yes that includes the excellent T. Boyd. If i had to choose between Wallace and Salomon based on the better talent, all other things being equal, I'd take Saloman all every time. Worth the risk, and I'd have to think that the fact that he's on 5 year probation right now will help keep him straight. He F's up again,. goodbye NFL, future, everything. And Temple is an absolute joke. No way he picks them over Pitt.

Its commitable. I'm pretty sure Urban doesnt make the trip this late in the game if its not committable.
