Illinois is terrible but they always are terrible. Lovie played basically all freshmen last year so they are still very young with a some experience. He will be allowed to run this experiment out at least through next year if not the next 2.

They were once a proud program, kind of like Pitt. Just like Pitt, they play in a dump that they won't spend to upgrade. They are just cashing checks from the conference and care about basketball, wow , they are Pitt!
