Tough sequence, and shows why a backup point guard and forward depth is so necessary. Xavier picks up his second on a questionable call. Murphy subs in, immediately gets blown by off the dribble for an easy layup, hesitates and proceeds to clank a three on the other end, and then is late getting back and UVA gets another layup. Then, Trey actually fires a really nice pass into Hamilton, who can’t catch it and turns it over two possessions after getting two shots blocked.
Yeah, that "and one" call when we were up 12-9 was awful. This is not supposed to be the NBA!
Yea he clearly fouled him before the ball even came close to leaving his hands. These refs get worse and worse each game.
It’s almost to the point that there’s no reason to give him any run. He is pretty bad.
he is like Brown from earlier in the year.he just can’t get a grasp on the ball when open in the post.
And what’s funny is Brown has gotten a bit better if only incrementally. Hamilton may be going backwards.
Not a bad half. Murphy missed 3 very make able shots. Others took some bad shots. Lost their 3 point shooters a couple of times.
Hustle and offensive rebounds keeping us in game.
Like every other game we play, we need to play smarter.

Effective screens is at 1 the entire first half for Pitt . TB set it and X drove for a successful layup .
Too bad KS Isn’t here he could get the Patriots wr coach to come in and show Pitt how to run successful pick plays !

I just don't see how he fits next year. He's 4th in line in the backcourt at best.
He was worth a flyer because why not. Had nobody else. But they need way higher level players than him. He’s not nearly skilled enough. He’s totally one dimensional and that dimension isn’t all that great. Not at this level anyway.
Bench is 0-8, 1 point. Really hoping we have a legit 8 deep with the freshmen next year, don't know if that's unrealistic.
