What an embarrassment this team continues to be. Now they will likely need a win in the ACC tournament just to feel comfortable. A loss and they are 50/50 at best to get in. Other thoughts:
- We didn't make one SINGLE f'ing 3. They are ice cold. I'm sure everyone has seen the stat by now. 3-40...FORTY the last two games.
- Enough Maia already. He can't hedge, he can't rebound. I'm not sure what he does.
- Mike Young had an incredible game so nice that someone showed up.
- 23 points in the second half. Absolutely disasterous.
- 4 players saw minutes and didn't score.
- Artis had a 2-1 POINTS to turnover ratio.
- Sterling Smith is a shell of who he was to start the year. I think one of the things that seems to be lost with the grad transfers is that they don't learn the nuances necessary to play in Jamie's system. It's too hard to pick up in one year. And they all seem to be shrinking during conference play because Copping State and Cornell don't ever play a meaningful road game like these guys are seeing.
- I'm excited for next year even though this one isn't over yet. Losing J-Rob will hurt but he can be replaced. We have some nice players coming in and hopefully they can be brought along slowly like Jamie's players typically are.
