There was lots of criticism heaped on our receivers early in the season. Mostly that we had no playmakers and couldn't create any separation.
What has been the difference the past few weeks?
- the opposing d-backs haven't been good
- our receivers have significantly improved
- the play calling is better
- Pickett is making better throws on time
- the o-line is giving them enough time to get open
I suspect it is some combination of the above. IMO the biggest factor has been KP delivering strikes ON TIME. There has been no hesitation once he finds the open receiver the past 2 weeks.
