The combo of Coach Whipple and a good WR Coach could really upgrade the passing game from what we’ve had under Coach Watson.

WRs adjusting routes and going up aggressively for the ball, versus just continuing to run and/or attempting to catch the ball down at chest level, would help Kenny P. a lot.

Hopefully he could improve the performance of our receiving corps and perhaps another major benefit is that he is a grad of talent rich St. Thomas Aquinas HS in Florida.

The nice thing about Hankerson is his youth. He can communicate on a level with the recruits that the older guys can't. Not to mention he could very well be become our next OC at some point. I really love this pick, hope it's true.

Obviously he's had some success at UMass. Add in youth and an NFL resume and it sounds like he might be effective as a coach and a recruiter.

The other positive point about LH not mentioned is his Florida connection for recruiting the state.

Went to HS in Florida and played WR at the University of Miami.
