Liverpool disaster vs Fulham

Congrats. It never felt to me that we’d drop any points. Until the end happened. When we lose the league, and/or drop out of the top 4, we are going to remember this week when we took 1 point out of a possible 6 vs Everton and Fulham.

Fulham haven’t won at the bridge since 1979? Unreal.
Harry Wilson is our super sub. Bernd Leno is probably the best EPL goalkeeper no one has heard of or talks about.

From your post to the scoreboard!

What about Man U …Imagine giving up two Olympicos…in the same month.

No one at the far post, which is partially the practice to prevent that. But, Harry McGuire was the CB on that side so it’s not surprising.
You love to see it.

Too bad the relegation zone is so weak this year, otherwise 14th place United would be in some serious shit.

Man U sucking and struggling is good for the sport. I think Man City may be on their way to a drop in performance as well. They just don't seem right. I know they have/had some injuries, but it just looks different this season.

Soccer is a lot like hockey. Coaches get stale. Pep somehow was exempt from it in spite of having the same core of players who won multiple championships. But he’s finally showing he’s human.

Also seems to my very untrained eye that City has had some guys who appear to have gotten old quickly.

I think you’re right.

Age and injuries have contributed.

KDB is probably not going to be a big club player much longer. Maybe he will be MLS in a couple years.

Another day, another ManU loss. What the heck happened to Chelsea yesterday?
Don’t know. I only caught the end. Heard they looked tired. But I don’t buy it. They still dominated but that’s soccer. They play more of a Klopp style of pressing than a Pep style of possession, so people are saying the tiredness is setting in now that there are midweek games. But come on, they go two deep at every possession and Enzo M made like 5-6 changes yesterday. So whatever. Title race, if there was one, is over. Gotta regroup and hope to finish top 4.

@pitt90seven do you blame Richards for that goal off that Sancho dummy? Or do you just praise Sancho for a great play?
When I see Sancho licking his chops as he looks to take on Richards 1v1 during every chelsea possession, it really worries me about the USA center back position. You can sometimes tell when an athlete recognizes a mismatch and has fire in their eyes…and that’s the feeling I’m getting right now.

CB and GK, 2 positions the national team was always at the very minimum very solid. Both now major concerns going into 26.

the refs screwed us, of course.

it's no problem since we have great strikers to make up for it.
