Logan didn’t play the first two sets.

Fisher went to her in the 3rd set as the primary defensive specialist- and she was outstanding.

She stabilized their serve receive ( which was just bad sets 1 and 2 ) and kept the ball off the floor .

Deservedly, she closed out the 5th set on a 3 point service run … She was really good.

Babcock was the best player on the court for either team.

Super fun win.

On a side - noticed Zach Austin at the match - he mentioned in a recent interview how much he loves PItt volleyball- cool to see him there supporting the team.

As you say....the adjustments Fisher made after the 2nd set took the wind out of GT's sails. Our defense was really out of sorts in sets 1 and 2. I give him a lot of credit. Also love how the team adjusted....stayed the course....and played with tremendous grit to come back. A thing of beauty. The atmosphere was fantastic...great fans to be around.

Agree. I think she was subbing in for VVG-great move. He also switched to a 6-2 by bringing in Akeo, which allowed them to have 3 front row attackers when Fairbanks rotated to the front row. So nice to have so many good adjustment options. H2P

Logan is a glue girl.Every team needs glue players.She is much like the transfer from Texas A&M last year.Her name slips my mind right now.Both good solid players.

Why do they always go against the Steelers at 1pm on Sundays? I know they still draw well,but 4 or 4:30 would be better.

My guess....to let the visiting team get out of town and back home at a reasonable time.
