Look, there’s no other option. Dwelling on this game is dumb and doesn’t benefit our already damaged confidence. Just like you guys, I hoped we could give Clemson a game and we didn’t. It was painful to watch. But what’s more painful is having to think about it over and over again.
Instead I’m going to look forward to an extremely winnable game against GT, a team with an inexperienced QB who’s struggling to throw the ball, especially against any secondary with half a heartbeat, and a running game that we SHOULD be able to shut down (I see they had like 300+ yards rushing against Duke, but it’s unlikely they’ll run for more than half of that against us). With that being said, Collins has a young scrappy group who will bring their A game so if we come in sloppy and demoralized, it’s gonna be a long night. So it’s good that we get a bye week to regroup.
Yes, this season has been aggravatingly disappointing, it’s been soul crushing. But like it or not, Duzz ain’t getting fired this year, so Idk about you, but I’d rather finish 7-5 and above average-decent than 5-6.
