after looking at this big deal about how well HCPN has done in the ACC since arriving I thought I go back and see what and how these games turned out. Also I put the 20/20 goggles on...
#1. Our out of conference schedule was brutal and is brutal compared to other ACC teams. (I know obviously, but when you look over 2015 - present it is glaring)
#2. Tough start for HCPN he goes 6-2 in conference (that record wins him the conference last year) and UNC is 8-0. Imagine winning or sharing the 1st year (major program buzz).
#3. 3-5 in conference has happened twice and those years are bad years with bad losses ie UNC 1-10.
#4. We need to win bowl games. The ones that we have had were all winnable and IMO the greatest failures of this staff to date.
#5. 6-2 in conference is the standard for having a good year. I have come to this conclusion because looking at past coastal champs since 2012 6-2 record has won it 3 times.
