That's pretty pathetic of you to call someone out from behind your keyboard. If you want come find me at the next game and say that to my face.
Some PITT fan you are. You've been on this board for not even 2 months. I have just a bit of seniority.

I'll just focus on your factual errors. Coach Powell has said in multiple interviews that he decides the running back rotation. Chaney has confirmed. If you know football you would know that an offensive coordinator can't be micromanaging every substitution. The position coaches are the main ones handling the RB and WR rotations.
Now why wasn't Ollison in the UNC game after the first two drives? That was probably an offensive coordinator decision.

And lastly your point doesn't show Duzz didn't throw him under the bus. Yes, Chaney controls the offense. Ok, Duzz still threw him under the bus. I like Duzz and hate Chaney, but you can't possibly watch the UNC post game interview and think Duzz didn't throw Fatzo under the bus. Duzz could have taken the high road, but he gave a snippy comment.
I'm not calling you out by any means and have nothing against you. I'm just saying it's been stated multiple times Chaney controls the offense to the point where Narduzzi has very little say. So the only thing I'm getting at is it's completely incorrect to say Narduzzi threw him under the bus. You are just looking to much into it. What he said was nothing but the truth. Ask Chaney because it was Chaney's decision. How is that snippy? If you want to call it that, it was probably more he was annoyed they lost and didn't want to deal with the reporter, that wasn't even close to throwing Chaney under the bus.

I'm also not attacking you, saying no offense was me trying to emphasize that. I just disagree strongly that Narduzzi was throwing Chaney under the bus. I would have no problem meeting you in person and just having a civil debate over it. I'm sure you're an intelligent guy and most of your other posts are good ones. There is nothing wrong with me pointing out that saying Chaney was thrown under the bus being a ridiculous statement, just as there is no problem with you pointing out factual errors I may have made.

I also like Narduzzi a lot and don't like Chaney. But we're at complete opposite ends here. I don't know how you possibly think that is him throwing him under the bus. I promise I come in peace I'm just as baffled that you think that as you are that I think he didn't throw him under the bus. I'll admit that my opening comment may have sounded a bit out of line, but this is a message board where we can disagree and argue about those things. I would never, ever attack you as an individual.

There's a difference between reading the quote and hearing/seeing the video. If you take off your PITT glasses you may realize that. They were talking about it all day on the Fan the next day. I'm not the only one who realizes that. I think Chris even talked about the comment on his radio show.

I read and saw the whole thing. Quit being a baby.
Maybe you should link it.
Duzz even made an excuse for Chaney. "Lots of things can happen over the course of a game that decides who plays. I know he missed some protection assignments."
And send some tissues to Chaney while you're at it if he's as sensitive as you.

Probably one of the most well thought responses ever on this board. Much better than some of the trash other people write.
We're just going to have to disagree on this. I went back and watched the video. In my view he clearly throws him under the bus. Then he throws in a few ums and tries to backtrack and starts rambling. Was he mad about a loss? Absolutely. I still feel he threw him under the bus. I didn't like the original article this discussion is about, but I'm just trying to look at the situation without my PITT glasses. The media obviously can't ask the OC after the game since he's never available. I will give Duzz credit, he did make Chaney available to the media last week.

I've said multiple times I hate Chaney. We'll just have to disagree on this one. I'm trying to look at this situation without my PITT glasses.
Link. At the 4:30 mark. He clearly takes a swing at Chaney then tries to softly backtrack.

Thank you. We will disagree and we can yell about it all we want. I only initially said it in that fashion to point out that Narduzzi does not get involved very much with the offense and that is why I believe he said to ask Chaney. Totally agree with you though, there is never need for Pitt fans to attack each other with insults. Saying that any given person's opinion is ridiculous is one thing, but nobody should ever cross the line and insult someone personally. God Bless and H2P!!

Hail to PITT!

I thought his column was pretty spot on. He does seem to whine alot about calls and throw players and coaches under the bus a lot
He doesn't whine anymore on the sidelines than most other coaches. He just happens to be fiery and emotional. He has his team's back. And, I've listened to every press conference that was available to me, and I never got the impression he was throwing his coaches or players 'under the bus'. He has some honest appraisals, but never gave the impression he was blaming them for the way the game was played. I have, though, heard him take the blame. To me, he is an emotional, passionate person, who cares about his players and the program. I wouldn't want it anyway else.

Smh. I guess it's whining now when the refs make horrendous errors and you yell at them. I guess Bill Cowher was a whiner? Chryst shows no emotion, everyone bitches. Narduzzi shows emotion and gets upset, just what people said Chryst needed to do, people call him a whiner. Unbelievable.
