or the restrooms to support them...nice to see "vision and leadership"...but if LVILLE can do it so can Pitt...just takes vision and hardwork...still unsure we have either baked into the Athletic Department...time will tell.

Within the past decade Pitt just built a new BB arena, baseball facility, soccer field, softball field, upgraded the locker rooms at the practice facility and has other capital improvements, all with minimal donor support.
Having a top 5 bball program playing in a new college basketball arena that seats 19k in a basketball crazy state helps too.

Like Pitt stadium, Duke had a track around the field. They are digging that out, lower the field and building the seats out to where the track used to be so it is closer to the field.
I do. Louisville growth and prosperity has been nurtured and developed. It takes leadership vision. Something Pitt has always lacked.
just think--Pitt could add 10,000 to 12,000 seats to Heinz and have a close to an 80,000 seat stadium and be in the big time with OSU, Michigan and PSU!!
This is very big news for Louisville fans and alums. If anyone ever wants to question whether Notre Dame's presence as a partial member helps or hurts, this is a good example of where it definitely helps. With the September 2nd, 2019, date set for Notre Dame's visit to Louisville, I expect fundraising for the $55 million needed for this expansion to be quite easy.
