Pitt DE commit Brandon Mack took an official visit to Missouri last weekend and has visits planned to FAU and Ole Miss. But he maintains he is still committed to Pitt, and on Wednesday night, he had an in-home visit with Pitt DB coach Archie Collins.
Mack told me that they talked about the visits and he explained to Collins that he likes Pitt a lot but he feels like he made the decision without looking at any other options (which is true; Pitt was Mack's first visit). He said he has been talking to Collins about this for "months" and that Collins has been trying to dissuade him - gently, I presume - to no avail.
So this will go on for awhile. Pitt hasn't really been dealt with this, where a committed recruit takes visits and wants to wait until the February signing period. It will be interesting to see how it plays out.
I'll have an article on Mack in the morning.
