Would he get drafted?
As usual- your memory is faultyNot an ACC player (or so I was told)
A guard who a volume shooter with a modest at best accuracy .Would he get drafted?
If he doesn’t make the NBA, then he could make a very good living overseas. He isn’t going to improve his draft stock by coming back.Would he get drafted?
G leagueI don’t think so, only saw him show up on a couple of the mocks. Not a real good shooter or the quickest guy in the world, his age is working against him as well. Real tough kid that always wants to take the big shot and seems to make it more often than not.
He was on the verge of a special season but Minnesota got hit with a lot of injuries and Carr started to wear down late in the year. I hope he does come back for another shot as I really enjoy watching him play.

That was the narrative about Parker Stewart .
There could have been a person or 2 who said Carr wasn’t an ACC player but very few. It’s not hard to believe because unless they produce big every freshman stinks according to some on this board. But what he’ll do is latch on to that, twist it and use it to promote how wise he thinks he is.
Everyone thought Stewart sucked. Most thought Carr did as well. I tried to explain they were only freshmen but had a lot of potential

Lots of dudes like that
Credit to you for being the board’s rationale compass once again, right?Everyone thought Stewart sucked. Most thought Carr did as well. I tried to explain they were only freshmen but had a lot of potential

They picked eight total forwards on the first and second teams. The only guards on the first and second teams were Ayo Dosunmu and Joe Wieskamp, who is really more of a wing.20 ppg and only 3rd team Big Ten? What the hell?

Based on what?
64% of their league getting bids is one of the best ever. 4 1 or 2 seeds is probably the 2nd best ever behind Big East 2011
Illinois is moving on so there's at least 1.What percent of those teams will get upset in their first game of the tournament?

With a chance for four before the night ends.

Bad coaching that’s howHow do you not foul down two with only a six second difference between the game clock and shot clock? If they make a basket there you lose. You've got to foul and extend the game.

RU was so discombobulated on the offensive end the last 10 minutes of the game, I think their chances were better not fouling, imo.
Get the ball back between 6 & 10 seconds down by 2 and play it out if you don't get a turnover.
Or your opponent gets a layup off a lucky bounce and you go home.
When you are losing you want the game to last longer. When you are winning you want the game to end as soon as possible. Clemson was losing and guaranteed that the game would end as fast as possible.
I recall just about everyone thinking Carr was legit... Especially by the end of the year. Stewart was the one that was questioned more so by a lot.

Just going by game flow, I think most coaches would would also take their chances and not foul there. If your opponent can shoot FTs and you do down 4, under :30 seconds, you're probably going home anyway.
Not to mention they only had 5 fouls so they could have been super aggressive to try to get a steal and if they got to 7 fouls, its a 1 and 1. Plus, Clemson had no TOs. Lets say Rutgers misses a shot with 9-10 seconds left, how good of a look is a college team going to get in that scenario? Really really bad decision.
