Looks like Triblive's Rossi is a strong enough Sports Reporter to learn when he is wrong, good for him! For our BWI PSU CULTists that read the Lair without admitting it....Mea Culpa, means "through my fault" in Latin, comes from a prayer of confession in the Catholic Church. Said by itself, it's an exclamation of apology or remorse that is used to mean "It was my fault" or "I apologize."
I was in DC last week and got a Tour of the Voice Of America Studios and told how it was created in 1942 to Combat Propaganda against Germany, Japan and Italy Black Outs On The Truth & Other Opinions, and then extended to China and Russia and now targeting Middle East, Asian and African Nations denied fair and balance access to all the News. My friend from PSU said to me we could use that in State College too?
Looks like Rossi has had a Saint Paul Vision whereby once blind but now can see too which is the better Coach today and for tomorrow? Smart PSU Fans know it too, the slower ones honest ones are figuring it out, and the CULT is fixated on yesterday dead and buried!
What I found funny in what Rossi admitted he made a mistake on was how Coach Narduzzi used Penn State Arrogance against Penn State Coaches & Players! Today, the few PSU Fans still thinking Pitt is not a Rival are being mocked and whining even though they can't wait until next year? Even Jay Paterno made fun of Franklin??? I think Jay wants to be the next Penn State Head Coach! Could Honoring Joe this week is Part I of a Part II of all Civil Lawsuit's Settlements??? Lions, Tigers, and bears Oh My!
Meanwhile, Pitt Players keep singing OH, CANADA, and the Defense and Kicker get back to fundamentals of Defending Pitt and Scoring with a Kick again. Don't worry "Trust In Pitt's Coach Pat & Staff!
Excerpt:
With all precincts reporting, a clear winner can be declared in a rivalry finally renewed (and perhaps redefined). Pitt was it on Saturday. That was largely because Pitt's coach humbled his Penn State counterpart in the Panthers' 42-39 victory over the Nittany Lions inside a Heinz Field that finally felt like an advantageous home for the football program. Give the game ball to Pat Narduzzi. From his sound-of-silence mandate for players to in-game wrinkles to the post-game chatter, Narduzzi proved himself a better coach and leader than Franklin. If our commonwealth's best prep players were paying attention, they won't have a hard call to make in choosing between these programs.
Pitt should be it. Narduzzi said it all when he flippantly dismissed Franklin's claim that the Panthers' clapping on defense disrupted the Nittany Lions' offensive cadences in the first half."That's just another excuse," Narduzzi said...........
The guess here is Jay Paterno, whose Twitter commentary on the contest appeared almost gleefully pro-Pitt, knows there is clapping in football. The son of late Penn State legend Joe Paterno probably also could quickly rattle off the number of signature victories by Franklin. That number resembles a goose egg...............
Franklin's players were rolled in a first half that ended with a score hardly reflective of the domination by which the Panthers doubled up the Nittany Lions. Before the bands played, the Panthers had racked up surpluses in scoring (14), yards (111) and time of possession (seven minutes and 24 seconds). Penn State's rushing attack was nonexistent compared to the Panthers' omnipotent running game — unless you're of the belief a football team should ever hold a 178-yard edge on the ground before halftime.
Still, for Penn State to fall behind big in a game this important should be deemed inexcusable by Franklin's bosses. And despite Franklin having spent months saying otherwise, the Pitt game was important for Penn State. Perhaps Franklin will treat it properly next season...........
The safe bet is to trust Narduzzi. After all, Pitt beat Penn State. And the score was closer than the difference between the coaches.

Recruits that think they will learn more at Penn State are entitled to their opinion, but if they want to play on Sunday, Trust in Narduzzi is making Pitt Is It! Rossi is a New Pitt Narduzzi Convert today and he will make sure he will not sin again!
