Imagine getting all wound up over the guy who scored 14 points on 13 shots with 2 rebounds and 1 assist rather than the guy who scored 21 points on 11 shots with 10 rebounds and 5 assists.

They will have a shot to still make it but the blowout loss this past week at SMU and the losses at Wake by 2 and at UNC by 1 who are all in the First four out last four in category at the moment aren’t going to do Pitt any favors. Winning anyone of those 3 games would have put Pitt in a much better position right now and they didn’t win any of them which hurts their chances a lot should they play themselves back into the conversation.

If Pitt goes 12-8, we'd have 2 Q1 wins and only 2 losses outside Q1. SMU could very well have 0 Q1 wins and a terrible non-con. UNC may finish the year with just 1 Q1 win. Wake may finish with just 2 Q1 wins. Pitt's resume will probably be better than those 3 if we do go 12-8, which we wont
