Miami losing to vt late in the 2nd quarter. I thought they were the team to beat in the acc. One game at a time but maybe, maybe Pitt is all that!?

Miami is always overrated.
They are looking for that magic pill to bring back the glory days.
Conference play is when the real season starts. No more surprises.
Go VT.

I told you Cristobal is going to figure out a few losses. He might be the worst coach in football. Pry isnt far behind though. He inexplicably called a timeout with 25 seconds left in the 2nd quarter to kick a FG, which left just enough time for Miami to come down and answer with their own. Umm.......you kinda have to let that clock tick down to a few seconds before calling that timeout so its the last play of the half. I said many times that head coaches are completely incapable of clock management.

timeout was fine...
He inexplicably called for a stupid squib kick with 20 seconds left which is what set them up for the field goal..

Was about to say the same about Pry. No matter how it works out to manage the clock like that is absolutely inexcusable at the level. I mean is he just plain stupid? These guys have been involved with coaching for a large part of their lives and should be expected to be at least a little bit knowledgeable about clock management.

90% of announcers can be included as well they have no idea what they’re watching and an inability to process it.

It was not a good timeout. You let the clock run down so it’s the last play of the half. It’s standard protocol. Cristobal could’ve obviously forced their hand (and should have) by calling a timeout himself there, but he’s so bad he probably wouldn’t have. This is coaching 101 and Pry looked totally foolish.

I'll give it to you on the timeout. Still not as dumb as the squib kick after the fact which got them to just about mid field.

What was fine about the TO? Why give Miami even kick off to Miami? Why give them even 1 play?

Head coaches CANNOT manage the clock. Period. I say it time and time again. They should have a clock management coach to do it for them.

Miami isn't going anywhere while Cristobal, the nepotism hire, is coaching.

That was one of the best plays you'll see all season.

1st and Goal Miami at the 2. Im going to help Pry here. You call TO's after every play here. You have to assume they will score.

Pry could have used his timeouts prior to the two minute warning ... they way they've run the ball, I would think you would want as much time as possible when you are on offense. Drones in a passing only situation isn't ideal.

This is the same as Pitt/WVU. Home team down 34-24 late in 4th (not as late as Brawl). TD. Stop. TD. 38-34.

Need to call a TO.

Wow is Pry an idiot. Play ends at 1:13. No TO called. Next play snaps at 50 seconds. When under 2 minutes, you need to call a TO after EVERY non-1st down in-bounds play. Pry completely mangled this drive. I told you that these guys are incapable of managing the clock. Part of that is these coaches arent very intelligent.

Wow. Joint catch goes to the offense. This shouldn't be overturned but the ACC refs are incented to give the game to the #7 team.
That only is true if both players are in bounds, would the Miami player be considered in bounds if he goes out when going to the ground?

Miami Gifted a win. Also Pry is a moron

Miami will lose at least two games.
