Evans another young guy who had good tourney as well. Battled some tough opponents. Never gives up.

It shows brown and priest getting teams points. Assuming team points automatically go to the highest point scorer.

That was my first thought, and I don’t have any inside info but it makes sense. Matches against teammates don’t count toward RPI so the MFF doesn’t hurt Finn and he will have more matches coming up to help earn automatic bid for ACC. Brown is RS, so getting him more matches in one of his 5 Attached events seems to be what they were thinking.

As a parent, was in this same situation a few years back and they let Dylan wrestle Phipps in blood round. I would have understood if they made him MFF but wouldn’t have been happy. That was before the change in rules and match counted towards RPI and Phipps won.
