30 years after first stepping foot in Oakland, I honestly believe that this might be my favorite Pitt team. Maybe it is the recency bias, because I love those last 3 Howland teams and so many Dixon teams.
i think, though, the futility of the last several years and the fact that a lot of those teams were, quite frankly, kind of hard to root for, really makes me enjoy this team all the more. It is an easy-to-like group.
They arent the best Pitt team, and I don't know if they will win the conference or even a game in the tourney, but as far as pure smile on my face after every game, this is my favorite group.
