I just spoke with Rutgers grad transfer TE Nakia Griffin-Stewart. He had a lot of positive reviews about his official visit over the weekend. He was hosted by Kenny Pickett and had an extended film session with Mark Whipple; the new Pitt OC went over film of the UMass offense and how Adam Breneman was used, which impressed Griffin-Stewart.
As of now, Griffin-Stewart doesn’t have any more visits planned. He does want to return to Pitt in the next few weeks and bring his mother so she can see it, too.
