why does so many people say Narduzzi will only be at Pitt for 3 years or as soon as Mich St job comes open or a better job comes open. His salary is fair, he has support from administration, he is close to his hometown, good recruiting in the immediate area to Pittsburgh. why do fans of other schools constantly say he will only be here for 3 years at the most. are they hoping he will leave because he is a threat to them. I think he loves the area and as long as he is getting support from the AD and Admin why wouldn't he want to stay at Pitt? everytime I hear an ups fan say he will be outta here as soon as possible I could rip them a new A$$hole. I'm really beginning to think that they have finally realized Narduzzi is a threat to them. Heard one ups fan say on the cory giger radio show here in Altoona that he would rather have Narduzzi than Franklin as their coach ! of course giger responds that he doesn't think Narduzzi will be here longer than 3 years. I guess we will see, but why can't Pitt keep Narduzzi?

Truth is, nobody knows. He might stick around for 15 years or he might leave after this year. Its impossible to say. I think he's focused on Pitt and the job at hand, and if you asked him, I bet he would tell you he plans on staying a while and having success here. But the truth is, nobody knows what other opportunities lie ahead or what relationships within the University will be like for Narduzzi down the road.

I think the motivation for UPS fans to say Coach Duzz will be gone is pretty obvious. Coach Duzz is having success with a team that has a lot of flaws -- and he can recruit, so those flaws may gradually disappear... UPS doesn't want to have to contend with a successful Pitt program.

I dont believe so many people are saying this. In fact, the buzz seems to be the exact opposite. IE this is a place he could be very happy to be for a long time, recruit well, win, close to home, in his stomping ground yada yada.

Actually, I think he is here for the long haul. Its quite clear what he can do. He has the support, team is playing great and he is a local guy. I mean Youngstown is local. In addition, over the years the national press has just been waiting for Pitt to wake up. Look at how many times we have been on national TV and now we are being talked about in theh national scene, (albeit a little premature.) There are some pretty big things being discussed right now and if the trigger is pulled on some of those he wont be going anywhere
Narduzzi only lived in East Lansing for 8 years. He's not from there. He has no family there that I am aware of (wife's?). Our biggest worry is if MSU opens up within 3-4 years. Once you get past that time period, of he has established himself here with a winning program and is here 5, 6, 7, 10 years, there would not be any reason to leave for the same money at Michigan State.
Because people are negative.
No different at state college, they are saying James Franklin might leave, even an article in the paper.
