Looks like Zeise is nice, just as his father that is Best Radio Host for The Fan 93.7 with Bostick and Peak are on too, and Best Sports Writer for PPG, from Temple Communications. Paul Zeise son is a Prime example how Wideouts and Running Backs can make the Transition to a Top Linebacker with his Quickness, Speed and Little More Beef plus Smarts & Brains & Study in Classrooms and Film Rooms.
Pitt really need the Linebackers to step up. If I was Zeise's Father and Son time to invite the Pitt Linebackers to Dinner or Breakfast and start to live in the Film Room together and talk to Steeler's Linebackers and Linebacking Coaches as much as possible just like Big Nate talked to Big Ben and OC Haley.
The Linebacking unit for Pitt have to be ready on Game Day being able to Contain, Blitz, Tackle, and Cover McSorley, Barkley, Sanders, Thompkins, Blacknail, Hamilton & Gesicki on that Game Day. Experienced is often more required but study and film room prep can help develop it faster. A talk with Jack Ham by Zeise would be nice too!
Pitt is going up against what I consider one of the Smartest QBs to ever play CFB in Trace The Ace McSorely full of confidence, takes a hit, and never quits! Smarts beat Dumb! So, Zeise, Idowu and Brightwell have to not only play tough, but smarter for Pitt to Win and stop Trace The Ace, Heisman Barkley, and Gesicki that can one sick when he left uncovered along with Speedy Wideouts from the Nittany Lions!!!
I want to call the Pitt LBs Unit The Pitt LIMEbackers so the go through Penn State's OL Coach LIMEgrovelers on Hits, Blitz, and No Miss Tackles on Nittany Pity Wideouts, Running Backs and leaving QB Trace The Ace....McSOREly!!!
Excerpt:
Coaches named outside linebacker Elijah Zeise and offensive tackle Jaryd Jones-Smith winners of the annual Ed Conway Award as the most improved players in the spring........Fans must wait until the fall to see Zeise. He didn't play Saturday because of an injury suffered late in the spring, but he had impressed Narduzzi and his staff almost from the start of drills in March. “He just continues to learn,” linebackers coach Rob Harley said. “He continues to increase his knowledge.” Said Narduzzi of the former wide receiver: “He's huge (listed at 230 pounds), and he's playing well and he understands the game of football.”....................
Too Many Penalties................
Careful, Ben................
By The Numbers...
