Why are you so fixated on attendance? Just like football, winning takes care of attendance. You don't hire a coach based on how he can improve attendance, you hire one to win and build a program. Attendance is not something you can fix with phony bullshit. Only one thing improves attendance. Winning. If Bobby knight came to coach here and we won zero conference games, attendance would be exactly the same. Period.

You got me confused with someone else. I'm not fixated on attendance. Jut addressing an issue with others fixation.
Next year attendance will be really bad or really, really bad. Don't see much of a difference.

Reread the sentence. More than 4 wins in the new guy's second season.

So to win more than 4 games in 2019....................(More than last years tournament team)

The new guy must correctly identify the players worth keeping and actually keep them here. And coach them to where they are ACC caliber starters.

And recruit a lot of new talent that are significantly better than what we have.

And have that all in place a year from now.

No Luther or Frame in year two.

Yeah, I guess I can visualize that scenario but I would call it anything but realistic.
I did-
The question you answered was
“So you don’t think there is anyone out there that is willing to take the job that can win more than 4 conference games in his first 2 years? That is the bar that has been set by Stallings.”

You misread it, not me.
More than 4 conference wins in 2 seasons combined.

A team of walkons with a good coach can achieve what Stallings has

Yeah, I guess I did misread it. My bad.

But you miss the point. Next year is going to be more of the same if the roster takes another rebuild. And most likely the year after that. I'll take no solace if the new guy posts 2, 4, even 6 wins the next two years. Bad is bad.

Relax. You will get the coaching change. Just don't tell me to enjoy the ride.

The current ride is a clown shoe.

Any coach capable of winning 2-3 conference games a season, in what is a down acc year-
Will be an improvement.

He was a bad hire which should have never happened.
He’s Todd graham with way less success

Yes but can he teach the history of jazz as well as the original Nathan davis

My heart sunk when I saw this thread title glad it’s about Bucknell. I’ve been listening to a ton of jazz lately and I wish I could retake HOJ. Now that I’m older I might have the guts to talk one on one with Mr. Davis.

He is building an impressive resume. He would be on my list of potential coaches.

Decent coach...

Not that we are going after Howland, but he is once again turning a team around. MSU, Pitt (first time), UCLA and northern arizona he turned around from a losing record to a winner. I respect that more than someone coming into a good program and winning 25 games his first year.
